Scholarships Applications are due Friday, April 14th!
The USD 465 Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships available only to students and graduates of Winfield High School. These scholarships honor persons who have made special contributions in Winfield schools or who have connections to our district. Go to winfieldfoundation.com to explore more about that particular scholarship’s guidelines and qualifications and how to apply. (Please note that a separate form must be filled out for each scholarship application.) Applications are due April 14th.
For students working towards a GED, pursuing their education in other nontraditional ways, or to benefit the traditional student studying social sciences.
For WHS seniors who plan to further pursue their educational studies
For WHS seniors going on to study at Kansas University.
For WHS seniors who have been student athletes.
For a Winfield High School Senior who attended Country View Elementary school for at least four years.
For WHS seniors who have been active in FFA and plan to study agriculture or a related field in college.
For WHS seniors who are going to study English in college.
For orchestra students studying music in college.
For art students studying graphic arts in college.
For students planning to enter the educational field.
For “worthy” students who have completed at least one semester of college and need assistance in continuing their college education.
For WHS seniors planning to attend college.
For WHS seniors who were students at Irving Elementary for 2 or more years.
For WHS seniors who were students at Lowell Elementary for 4 or more years.
For students who have completed college courses and been accepted into an accredited College of Education.
For WHS graduates who have already attended 1 semester at Cowley College and will continue studying at Cowley.
For WHS grads who have been active in FFA and who plan to or already attend KSU with emphasis in agriculture studies.
For current WHS and WMS students needing assistance with fees for driver’s education, athletics, summer school, or other school sponsored activities.
For WHS seniors who are children of current USD 465 employees.
For WHS seniors who were students at Whittier Elementary for 4 or more years.
