School Nurse Substitute - We are currently looking for RN's to provide nursing services to students when the School Nurse is absent. May be asked to fill in for preschool through 12th grade. Qualifications: current Kansas Registered nurse license, current certification in CPR, experience in pediatric, community or public health nursing would be helpful. Responsibilities: administer medications and treatments as ordered, provide care for student illnesses and accidents, provide care and monitoring for students with chronic health conditions - these may include Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, asthma, etc., contact parents as needed with regards to illnesses, accidents and chronic health disease monitoring, document on electronic medical record. READING TEACHER/LITERACY COACH for WINFIELD HIGH SCHOOL BLENDED LEARNING PROGRAM - 2019-2020 School Year - 9 month position. (Supplemental Coach/Sponsor positions are also available.)  Preferred candidate will have a Reading Specialist degree and/or strong Reading Instruction background on a valid Kansas Teaching License with a Reading Specialist endorsement and/or Elementary Education endorsement.  If qualified and interested, please fill out an online application. Cowley County Special Services Cooperative employs 16 SLPs to work with students with disabilities throughout the cooperative.  Average caseloads run from 45 – 60 students.  There are multiple opportunities to team with and collaborate with other SLPs throughout the school year.  In addition, the Coop pays registration fees for workshops to assist SLPs in obtaining CEUs to maintain licensure and has veteran SLPs who are willing to supervise the CFY for beginning SLPs.
