Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for 2020/2021 school year - Cowley County Special Services Cooperative. This teacher will work with students with disabilities 3 - 5 years of age.  The teacher must be properly licensed (i.e., ECSE licensed or Birth – Age 8 Unified) to serve this population of students or have a teaching license and be taking/be willing to take coursework toward this licensure.

School Nurse Substitute - We are currently looking for RN's to provide nursing services to students when the School Nurse is absent. May be asked to fill in for preschool through 12th grade. Qualifications: current Kansas Registered nurse license, current certification in CPR, experience in pediatric, community or public health nursing would be helpful. Responsibilities: administer medications and treatments as ordered, provide care for student illnesses and accidents, provide care and monitoring for students with chronic health conditions - these may include Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, asthma, etc., contact parents as needed with regards to illnesses, accidents and chronic health disease monitoring, document on electronic medical record. Cowley County Special Services Cooperative employs 16 SLPs to work with students with disabilities throughout the cooperative.  Average caseloads run from 45 – 60 students.  There are multiple opportunities to team with and collaborate with other SLPs throughout the school year.  In addition, the Coop pays registration fees for workshops to assist SLPs in obtaining CEUs to maintain licensure and has veteran SLPs who are willing to supervise the CFY for beginning SLPs.
